Book Recommendation

“World Order” by Henry Kissinger. Actually, after I had finished my master’s degree and was figuring out what to do soon after extricating myself out of a bunch of relationship problems, this was one of the first books I picked up and read, which then put me on a research and writing journey that has gone on to this day. Kissinger’s key ideas — which extend even to this work — are equilibrium, political dialogue, and ultimately, a political settlement between the East and the West. One of the most brilliant books ever written, and it is a must read for both academics and practitioners of international affairs.
