The term Logos is a Greek term which, in essence, has a dual and interconnected meaning. On one hand, Logos translates into “word of God,” and on the other hand, it translates into “appeal to reason and logic.” Thus, Logos is essentially an appeal to reason and logic through the “word of God” because of its dual and interconnected meaning.
In turn, ancient and traditional cultures believe that the unadulterated and unfiltered appeal to reason and logic through the word of God — and thus Logos — must always exist, no matter how much it is censored and suppressed by those in positions of power. While modern and Western peoples do recognize the term Logos, the actual background and meaning of the term is something that is perhaps overlooked more often than not.
