“A People’s History of the United States” by the late Howard Zinn. A number of the issues and themes discussed so far in this blog, such as the nature of law in America and the use of law enforcement as a tool used by the rich and wealthy to crush and suppress regular people in America, as well as the bipartisan and universal nature of the opposition towards the abuse of power in America which transcends racial and ideological differences were covered by Zinn in this book. It is an essential, fundamental, and seminal text in the way of understanding America and American politics, and is thus a must-read.
