“The Structure of Scientific Revolutions” by Thomas Kuhn. Essentially, the Bible on how paradigm shifts occur in the social sciences. One must note that paradigm shifts either occur very, very, very, rarely or never at all in the social sciences. But on those very, very, very rare occasions when a paradigm shift actually does occur in the social sciences, this book basically explains how and why the paradigm shift occurs. A must read for all experts and practitioners of international affairs.
