Lyrics: Shah Shuja, a 19th century king and monarch of Afghanistan. Rough translation: “Dream a little, so we can turn those dreams into reality. Close your eyes, and let the heart do the seeing. On whose set of values and principles should I convey my story? On whose path should I build my empire? Perhaps it is better that I carry the weight of my pain alone on this path. The provocative display and show of spring, has lost its splendor. My charge and rally towards hope and optimism has also lost significant momentum. However, and above all else, it would be a huge mistake to take the desires and lusts of today into the future.”
