“Mohabat”

Artist: Naim Popal. Rough Translation: “I don’t believe in religion or irreligion. Any discourse on love is what I believe in. And as I journey and travel through one desert and plain after another while contemplating nature’s beauty, it’s the beauty of your eyes which I will really be contemplating. The only crime I ever committed in life was to love, and for that, everyone wants to kill me. But for some reason, I am still in love with the cause of my death. And whether it’s flowers or wine or anything else, I take all of it in so that I can open my mind to the contemplation of the beauty of your eyes.”
