“Relativity: The Special and General Theory” by Albert Einstein. Simple, yet deeply and highly complex, in the sense that Einstein’s core argument embedded in this theory was that all motions are relative motions. The only major difference between the special and general theory is that the general theory accounts for gravity as well. In turn, the concept or idea that all motions are relative motions describes and explains all natural and physical phenomena. Hence, Einstein’s theory of relativity is considered to be the most complex and ‘beautiful’ physical science theory to have ever been contrived thus far. As Einstein himself stated, it takes a while to get to his theory of relativity, but it takes a while because in order to fully and truly appreciate the theory, you need to cover lots and lots of ground study-wise in order to both understand and appreciate Einstein’s theory of relativity.
