Whistleblowers have a long history of being maligned and suppressed in Washington, and this maligning and suppression is happening yet again as a few whistleblowers have stepped up in recent days to shed light on the corrupt practices of the FBI. The aim now in Washington is to undermine the credibility and legitimacy of these whistleblowers, without considering the history of the institution which these whistleblowers are whistleblowing against.
Coincidentally and ironically, it is Black and Jewish lawmakers who are buoying the FBI amidst this current whistleblower case and in turn are maligning and suppressing the whistleblowers, without their taking into consideration the history of the FBI and how the FBI once targeted their own communities. Blacks and Jews were always under the radar for suspicions of sympathizing with communism and so forth during the Cold War era. And the general profile of those who have historically been targeted by the FBI are Martin Luther King Jr. and Albert Einstein types, as these articles will show. Try to bring about changes in society, and apparently, you’ll be under the radar. They won’t waste their time on the ‘Average Joe.’
Arguably, Donald Trump fits the general profile of those who are inclined towards being targeted by the FBI, given that he seeks to bring about certain changes to the system, whereas the system seeks to freeze everything in space and time, even though no one is in control of space and time and change is just a basic reality of life. Why the denial and ignorance of this basic fact and reality of life is so stubborn in Washington is anyone’s guess. And as the independent investigator Jack Durham recently found in regards to the so-called Trump-Russian connection, such targeting on the part of the FBI has proven to be baseless and unjust. Moreover, those in Washington who seek to malign and suppress whistleblowers are far from being angels, and they are perhaps far more corrupt than anyone else in the world.
