Footnote to the post titled “The Collective Consciousness”

Wish-fulfillment. Collective consciousness, arguably, is a byproduct of contemplation, dreaming, and imagination, and what is essentially behind contemplation, dreaming, and imagination is nothing other than the basic desire for wish-fulfillment. There is some wish that is trying to be fulfilled both on an individual and collective level, hence the role of the collective consciousness, its evolution over the course of time, and the importance and significance of contemplation, dreaming, and imagination in regular or ordinary life.
