Moreover, common sense and wisdom are things which American schools and universities do not teach anymore. And the reason for why common sense and wisdom cannot be taught in American schools and universities anymore is because common sense and wisdom have been cancelled as a result of this novel “cancel culture” which has emerged in the United States as of late. The lack of common sense and wisdom is also most palpable in the American media, but especially in the liberal media, and the reason for why liberal media has to feign its stupidity and its lack of common sense – even though many truths are now clear and self-evident – is because of job security and the fear of ostracism.
Double standards also emerge from this cancel culture and from the cancellation of common sense and wisdom. One group gets to run rampant with all the ethical, moral, and legal transgressions that they can desire, while others are unjustly brought under the microscope. Public anger and frustration is then viewed by the elites as something which will pass or something which can be repressed, without considering the fact that cancel culture can only make the anger and frustration and thus the danger to the system even worse.
Now that the Trump-Russia myth has been dispelled, there is a Trump-Saudi connection which the liberal media seeks to cultivate. But one cannot cultivate such a connection and then suggest that the connection is criminal when we still have a Bush-Saudi connection that we have not addressed fully, and in turn, this connection can have criminal implications as a result of the Saudi connection to 9/11. When we put two and two together, we see that the Bush name is connected to Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Arabia is connected to 9/11. But as we mentioned before, one group gets off scot free, while another is unfairly brought under the microscope.
The system has also gone out of its way with such diligence and energy to protect Hunter Biden, as some people have highlighted and noted. Whistleblowers and others have been brought under the knife in order to shield Hunter Biden from scrutiny. Democrats even interfered with social media companies and used the FBI as a tool in order to suppress stories about Hunter Biden’s transgressions on social media. One should then ask: was the system which was created by the ‘Founding Fathers’ of the United States intended to serve as a shield for people like Hunter Biden?
In turn, when we combine the cancellation of common sense and wisdom with the double standards that have been emerging as of late, you get the political and social crisis and the stalemate in Washington which we are experiencing at the moment. As we have mentioned before, a political and social crisis does not usually emerge out of economic conditions. Moreover, in an economic sense, not only the United States, but the world as a whole has never been as better off as it is at the present moment. Rather, a political and social crisis – if it is to emerge in a developed society like the United States – emerges out of political and social conditions such as the cancellation of common sense and wisdom as well as the double standards which we are experiencing as a society in America in this day and age. We must also consider whether there is an existential crisis which is underpinning this political and social crisis, given that economic conditions are not something which we should be excessively concerned about. For instance, the history of ‘Nihilism’ and Freudian Repression in the Western world, as well as other psychosocial phenomena which have occurred throughout the history of the Modern West, can perhaps serve as potential explanations or philosophical underpinnings for what is essentially a political and social crisis of “historical proportions” as one Congressman suggested recently. A suggestion, which one must note, is entirely valid and true.
