Modern culture has lost its connection with the Dionysian myth, which means that modern culture is displaced from the archetypal or mythical maternal womb, and by virtue of being displaced from the archetypal or mythical maternal womb, modern culture is devoid of the necessary and vital nourishment of the mother archetype.
