And given that what we are dealing with as an international community and international society is American and Israeli occupation around the world above all else, not just in Palestine, perhaps the first step to resolving the specific conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is to put Palestinian refugees back into their houses. Without putting Palestinian refugees back into their houses after their displacement as a result of American and Israeli occupation around the world, there is no way you can resolve this specific conflict. Putting people back into their houses after displacement which results from occupation is the sine qua non of dealing with the core problem of our time, namely, American occupation around the world.
