In fact, the main goal or objective of neoliberalism is “to form an international association” in the words of Hayek which would replace all sovereign states in the international system. But as one scholar suggested, Brexit was the first noteworthy sign or indicator in recent times that the vision of world order which the neoliberals had sought would be unattainable and in fact outlandish. Hence, the delegitimatization and outlandishness of the basic and primary neoliberal goal and objective and vision and worldview.
