Plus, there is no one or nothing else more worthy of giving my life to than the Beloved. I myself am not worthy of the Beloved. From head to toe, the Beloved is urging me on. She’s egging me on. She’s calling for it. And I don’t know why this separation burns more than all the others. In the realm of love, there is no difference between believer and disbeliever. Plus, the modern mind can never grasp what belief and faith are anyway.”
