And as I have noted to some colleagues and peers, the majority of America consists of rural independents. Liberals and populists are essentially fringe groups in America. But given that the independent majority does not have a good choice or option this year, it is very much likely that a great deal of the independent majority will either vote for Trump, or will sit out and let Trump tilt the election in his favor against what is now a discredited and illegitimate liberal class and establishment. There is always a chance for surprises. But what we have stated here is most likely to occur, given that there are no surprises which come our way.
