At the heart of both modernity and tradition is worldview, or weltanschauung. Everything revolves around worldview if everything revolves around modernity and tradition, which it does. Thus, when we analyze both modernity and tradition, we are basically analyzing the worldview which is at the heart of both. Tradition thinks in terms of one God with multiple universes; in other words, it thinks big, while modernity thinks of dancing with translators in bases in Afghanistan and fighting in bars in South Korea. Thus, the modern worldview considers itself sophisticated but is actually the butt of jokes now, while the traditional worldview is actually quite sophisticated but is looked down upon and is censored and cancelled. What gave us the illusion that modernity was superior to tradition for all these years was technology. But as we see now, there is a growing equilibrium between East and West in terms of technology. Thus, the illusion that modernity is superior to tradition is dissipating and dissolving before our very eyes and in real time.
