And as we mentioned a little more than three years ago in a post regarding the issue or subject of modernity, once you become modern, or once you’ve modernized as an individual or society, there’s nowhere else left to go. There’s nothing else left to do, except pursue a war path with everyone, but especially with your peer competitors. Hence, modernity means war, and as long as modernity will last, which it will, there’s no turning back from modernity now that it’s here, the Cold War will last along with it, in turn engulfing all of us. All issues, whether personal or collective, are contingent upon the Cold War.
