In the end, it didn’t turn out the way Rhodes had intended. Britain lost its empire, and America is now in a state of relative decline vis-à-vis the Sino-Russian alliance. The Rhodesian idea of global control based on a notion of racial superiority ended up becoming an illusion and a fleeting idea. What is left behind is essentially crisis and turmoil in Washington and London.
