For as long as possible, the political class will mimic and imitate and dance to the beat of the bourgeoisie elite. Then, when class antagonisms arise as a result of the mimicry and pandering of the political class, what happens is that the political class goes under water for having mimicked and pandered to the bourgeoisie elite for so long. And when the liberal political class goes under water, as is the case now, two contenders arise to take their place. For one, there’s the far left. And second, there is the far right. In this scenario, what does the bourgeoisie elite do when their political pawns go under water and there are now two bad options? The answer is that they side with the far right over the far left. Arendt. And with this alignment and arrangement between the bourgeoisie elite and the right wing mob comes the rise of antisemitism and Islamophobia and discrimination against people of color and homophobia and so on and so forth. Until by an act of God, the scourge of the right goes away, as history shows us. America invaded Nazi Germany in the past. This time around, perhaps America will have to invade America.
