During the UN General Assembly in 2017, and quite famously, the Iranian president at the time called Trump and his administration “political amateurs.” Today’s speech in Michigan, however, puts that claim to rest. Trump is no longer a political amateur. He is now an expert, after having gone through a very difficult eight-year learning curve.
