In sum, from the laws of nature, we derive theory. There are at least one or two laws behind any given theory. And to build or develop a theory, we make assumptions. Facts are a veil for the basic assumptions we make. Our assumptions are our axioms. In the sense that our assumptions are our truths about reality. Thus, through theory and its development, not only do we seek to describe and explain reality, but we are also declaring the truth about reality, given the basic building blocks of theory, namely, assumptions or axioms. Assumptions are merely our way of declaring what is true or not. And the whole point is to find the truth about reality.
