Second Note

Mysticism. Mysticism operates in the shadows and specifically through mystical orders and secret societies. But the center of it all is Afghanistan. Without a doubt. There’s no doubt about it whatsoever. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. As one saint said, or as one saint told me, we don’t need the people. We don’t need anyone from anywhere, even if it’s Muslim societies. We need their saints. And it’s all about Afghanistan in the end.
