Impudent Banter

There is also still a lack of a concrete understanding of Trump’s actual agenda. As the Russians said, he is the “destroyer of America.” One Democrat said that Trump’s agenda is a “racist, insane agenda.” One British reporter called it “unpredictable abroad, and controversial at home.” Which begs the question: what is Trump actually trying to achieve here?

The fact of the matter is that Trump has no clue as to what he is doing abroad, and at home, he will only make lives more difficult for people. He gave off the image or the idea to people during his campaign that he will be the omnipotent savior of the country, enabled in large part by Biden’s complete senility and incompetence. Had Biden or someone else been mentally cogent and competent – and of course unaffected by neocon-induced ineptitude – would Trump be able to capitalize like he did during the campaign season?

As one existential psychoanalyst argued, when down in the dumps, people will either resort to confidence in themselves, or they will look for a savior. And of course, lots of people looked to Donald Trump as a savior, considering the overall morale and national spirit of this country and the fact that people have long been dealing with a government that has been unresponsive to their voices for ages now. But just like any other politician, Trump is out for himself and himself only. At best – and considering how he has no clue as to how to handle the outside world and his domestic agenda will only make things worse for people – Trump will look out for his own survival and for his own interests above all else. After all, he made sure to get his son-in-law rich off of Saudi Arabia his first time around. One can be certain that lots of people have already regretted voting for him. But of course, the alternative was perhaps worse.

The hallmark feature of his domestic agenda is to let insanity and misinformation and lunacy and impudence enjoy free reign, and to enable disdain and hatred for experts and scholars and to let people like RFK Jr. and Elise Stefanik stick it to people with actual degrees and diplomas. The hallmark feature of his foreign agenda is to engage in impudent banter with everyone except for Israel. He can bully and terrorize anyone, especially poor migrants and students who engage in free speech and the right to assembly and protest. But God forbid if he says anything about Netanyahu and his diabolical plot against America. What good can come out of such a domestic and foreign agenda is anyone’s guess. But then again, decline was something expected, regardless of whether it was Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in the White House.

Donald Trump will advocate for free speech on behalf of lunatics and conspiracy theorists but will shut it down for anyone with common sense and logic. To a certain extent, he is banking on a strategy of fear and terror. But behind the appearance of fear and terror is an ungrateful, orange coward who is hiding the ultimate truth. There are those of us who are privy to the very subtle truth about Donald Trump, while millions of others are misled and deluded by him and are being driven into fear and terror by him and his cronies and lackeys. But if those of us who actually know the truth adopt a full-court press against him, it is quite possible that he can be stopped, the way Biden got stopped. Of course, the way forward in 2024 would have been to get over this Biden-Trump dichotomy and move on to the next generation. But we have one more obstacle to overcome before we reach that point where there is light at the end of the tunnel.
