The final card that Washington has left to play in this 21st century “Great Game” with Russia and China is a Russian-Chinese split. A Russian-Chinese alliance is the death knell for Washington. But a Russian-Chinese split allows for Washington to live another day. What the likelihood is of Washington inducing a Russian-Chinese split is up for debate. But the likelihood is very slim, if not non-existent, at this point in time.
