Eighth note to the book recommendation

What Russia banks on the most in order for the core goal or objective of its “special mission” to succeed is divisions within Western society. And given that the divisions in Western society are real and are largely insurmountable, Russia’s response to Trump claiming that the latter can end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours was that it is all an “over-exaggeration.”

We can also infer that there will be no end to Russia’s “special operation” in Ukraine, given what the achievement of the core goal or objective of this ‘special operation’ depends on the most. Russia will not drop a nuclear bomb on Washington to achieve its core goal and objective of this “special operation.” Russia relies on a very clever and subtle strategy, which is seeing lots of success as a matter of fact. The “national interest” won’t overcome the divisions in America at this point in time, given that it requires unifying around a leader who can define what the “national interest” actually is. There is no national unification around Trump. At least in my opinion, there is no national unification around Trump. Nor is there Western unification around Trump. Thus, Russia is enjoying a great deal of success in its “special operation.”
