With tears in eyes, I told her that’s fine. But I asked why? Why the sudden 180 turn? Why flip the switch on me like this? She left me with the fondest memory I will ever have in my whole life and with the lingering dream and thought of an island escape and getaway with her. It was the beginning of spring, and it was her and I at the center of the universe, and there was love and hope in the air as a result of it all. All of a sudden, that spring feeling is now dead, she’s gone all of a sudden, she disappeared, and what’s past is now past. She’s forcing me to let bygones be bygones and look to the future.”
