But arguably, in order to understand a war of religion against religion, we must first define “religion.” What is “religion”? What is this religion and religiosity that has burned the world down to the ground? Religion is defined as the manufacturing of saints. The way a factory manufactures iPhones, religion manufactures saints! And in turn, a saint is defined by his or her biography and life and his or her artistic and literary output. Both of which are replete with miracles and wonders. So now that we know what religion and sainthood is all about, how does that explain this conflict or war or religion against religion?
