But of course, the edifice and foundation for all three is immersion into and exposure to the liberal arts and humanities. And in the pursuit of money and profit, the liberal arts and humanities are the first casualties and victims. Sadly and tragically, this has long been the case in our government and society. And it continues to be the case even now, right at this very moment.
