Nevertheless, the term “religion” is defined as the manufacturing of saints. And a saint is usually a hidden and secluded and isolated and solitary individual who has given up all wants and desires for a life of contemplation and prayer. Easier said than done, of course. They are not out in the public domain and public sphere engaged in and fueling corruption and culture wars and petty partisanship and warmongering like everyone else is. The abandonment of all wants and desires is also the key source of their eventual contentment and inner peace. The goal is contentment and inner peace in the very end.
