‘Fiola Mare.’ Premier Italian seafood. Fresh off the boat. Where the experiment and the gamble ends. Nowhere else to go after this. Nowhere. There’s nowhere else to go.
Compliments from the chef, an eggplant green pea ricotta tart. It was perfect 👌🏼
For dinner…
Again, the sauce.
And for dessert…
Affogato. Vanilla gelato with espresso and amaretto poured over it. Amaretto is an Italian almond liquor. I’m speechless. I’m in lalaland now.
Clever.
And as if any of that wasn’t picture perfect, pomegranate marmalade after dessert, courtesy of the chef. So much juice and spice in it. You need a glass of water to rehydrate yourself after it. Fiola Mare probably isn’t even just five-star. It’s like seven-star. There’s nowhere else to go after this. The experiment and the gamble ends here.
