Love amounts in essence to two things. One, death before dying like we said before. And two, cutting off all associations and ties with the world of lust and temptation and thus the social world as a whole, given that the social world is none other than the world of lust and temptation. This means God becomes your one and only friend and helper. One seeks God in isolation and seclusion. But the prize or the reward for giving up everything and burning all bridges is the girl. If God was your one and only friend and helper this whole time, so was the girl! Even if you weren’t fully and truly aware of it.
