Note to “Tobah”

“Tobah” توبه

Atonement. Repentance.

There is a lot to atone for and repent for. A lot. Man is a sinner. Man is borne out of sin. Even for the burning love desire which turned the whole world upside down. But of course, it takes seeing and experiencing the living evidence and proof of a mystic or a saint to get one to the point of atonement and repentance. And there aren’t many people in this world who have that kind of insight and experience. Moreover, they’re not eligible or qualified to have such insight and experience. They’re too corrupt and dirty for it. You have to be chosen and hand-picked for it. There are the “Elect” and there is everyone else. It all relates to that famous Hollywood or American expression: “You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth.”
