There is nowhere to go and there is nowhere to hide. No man is an island per se. Everyone is dependent on civilization and people one way or another. So the only choice becomes one of choosing the harder right over the easier wrong. Which is what we did. And we are better off as a result of it. Whether what we did is condemned or lauded by others in international society is a moot point. It is beside the point, given that we ourselves are much better off now than we were before.
