“Peeri Raseed” – پيری رسيد

Artist: Ahmad Zahir. Rough Translation: “I’m now starting my transition into middle and old age, and the stage or the season of youth and youthfulness is beginning to come to a close. See, folks, how time passes in a flash? Time is nothing but an illusion. If my youth was spent in this kind of responsibility and pain, what will middle and old age be like? Steering what is essentially ‘Noah’s ark’ in this chaotic whirlwind of debt and dysfunction both day and night has become the leitmotif and theme of my whole life. And of course, it sucked. It wasn’t fun. It was spent in sadness and tears for the most part. It was lonely and miserable. No one really appreciates it or values it either. But of course, there was no other choice but to generate this creative and innovative content and work. I had to do it. And hopefully, the reward or the prize for it is a beautiful woman at the bare minimum. Or at least a kiss from her. All after, of course, having had enough of the crap from all these crappy people and having exhausted the course. We have to exhaust the course first.”
