There are many languages spoken in the East, just as there are many languages spoken in the West. But Dari or Farsi is the elite language of the East, just as French is the elite language of the West. Dari or Farsi was the elite or official language of Central Asia, South Asia, and even parts of the Middle East or West Asia for centuries until European colonialism took hold of the entire world. Dari or Farsi is an important language to know if one truly wants to delve into esoteric philosophy and mysticism or just the arts and liberal arts and humanities and social sciences at-large.
