But most importantly, and to conclude this piece, we seem to be overlooking and missing a very subtle but essential point or fact, which is that for centuries now, the international order – with of course the balance of power and the basic norms and values which underpinned it – was Eurocentric. But this is no longer the case. Which then leads to an existential and moral crisis and dilemma in the West which is very difficult to overcome. It’s very difficult. I empathize with the West as a matter of fact. But it has to be done. You need to find a way to overcome it. Because there’s no other choice except for death and suicide.
