“Mutahsib” محتسب
The authorities. They’re ubiquitous. They are the Orwellian panopticon that pervades and penetrates everyone and everything. They also seek to cancel and censor and repress and suppress anything that doesn’t suit their agenda. Or “contain” and “deter.” But the drunken flow and stream is too hard to contain and deter, even for the authorities. And it seems to have found his partner in crime.
