Summer Road Trip, 2025 (Verse Three)

After looking back at some of the notes, I came across something that I had to resolve, which is the question of whether Berkeley Springs in West Virginia is the oldest spa town, or Hot Springs here in Virginia. Both lay claim to the prestigious title of oldest spa town in America. And the answer is that Hot Springs is in fact the oldest at 264 years old, while Berkeley Springs is about 248 years old. So that’s settled.
