Summer Road Trip, 2025 (Verse Nine)

Some of the roads in Rural Virginia are worse than some of the roads I travelled on in Rural Afghanistan. I kid you not. Ever heard of a town called ‘Fancy Gap’ in Rural Southwest Virginia? Neither have I. But I ended up here somehow. They say “Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.” I hope Charlotte is one. It better be worth the trip. I’ll be there in about 90 minutes. So let’s see.
