Second Note to “Dil Ze Sawdaye Du Chashme”

There’s no way to make that kind of beauty yours. You can only dream about it in mystical or saintly contemplation or meditation at best. But it gets the flow and stream going nonetheless:

دل ز سودای دو چشم تو به ميخانه کند رقص 
لعل می گون تو در گرمی پيمانه کند رقص

And the authorities must be wondering what the hell is going on here:

محتسب از چه کنی منع ازين بادۀ نابم

But in the end, they all concluded that whatever kind of madness or insanity this is, it’s getting the job done. It actually works:

که از آن بيخودى، هوشيار چو ديوانه کند رقص
