Perhaps melancholy is better. Estranged from the world, grieving, tearful, in pain. What if this is what the heart and soul needs? The body and soul both want to be free from all constraints and restrictions, just as the captive or prisoner or hostage wants to be free from captivity and prison and ransom. And of course, the only thing that I’d like to be held captive and hostage and imprisoned by is the sight of you and your beauty.”
