Philosophy and religion, but as a number of philosophers and sages have argued and contended, to contemplate is to undermine everything both around us and within us. And once all is undermined through contemplation, we are left with only three possible outcomes or results in life: hell, heaven, or closeness to God. The chief task of contemplation, after all, is to somehow relate the inner self with its external reality through contemplation.
