Ahmad Zahir was no ordinary person either. He was the son of a doctor and prime minister and was very popular among both the men and women of his milieu and social setting. He enjoyed the life experience and lifestyle of a Hollywood superstar. His personal life and mental state were undoubtedly screwed up, but the body of work and content he put out is epic and historic. Timeless and unmatched even to this day. Put together, the body of work and the content he put out is a futuristic philosophy and school of thought, not just a work of art and music. Which is why many of the songs I chose from his entire collection of songs stand as incidental music. Music which coincides with both the current space and time, as well as our current context and situation.
