“Blazin Chicken and Gyro” in Fairfax. One of the more notable and intriguing economic and social transformations in America over the course of the last couple of decades is that the “Halal Bowl” or “Halal Platter” is becoming more and more synonymous with New York itself. We are beginning to equate New York with the Halal bowl or platter. It’s on every street corner now. Take Zohran Mamdani for instance. It says something. I like it though. Donald Trump might not like it. But I like it. I have no problem with it. I find it to be an economic and social transformation that is very much needed. A break from the ordinary and the routine in America.
