“Botkhana Neshin Hastam” – بتخانه نشين هستم

Original Artist: Ustad Rahim Bakhsh. Rough Translation: “I’m living in the Occident, and I boast about the Orient. It’s a disgrace that I’ve become the hedonist that I’ve become. The beloved won’t come face to face with me until I die. Therefore, aside from death, there’s no relief for this pain. I am the smartass of this place, as well as its guide. But the art and philosophy I convey is still a mystery and a puzzle to all of us, even to myself. Take all the seven or eight heavens they talk about, and it’s in the grip and hands of the Wild one. What the seven or eight heavens have to offer don’t even come close to what the Wild one has to offer. Therefore, the delights and pleasures of heaven can be gifted to the desperate and miserable ones. I’m content and happy with the artistic and creative flow and inspiration that has been gifted to me from above and from the unseen.”
