Art and contemplation are also of two kinds – authentic and inauthentic. Authentic art and contemplation reveals or unveils ultimate reality for us and it determines and shapes culture and history, whereas inauthentic art and contemplation insists that there is no ultimate reality to reveal or unveil and that culture and history are as meaningless and superfluous as itself.
