But of course, an episteme or a thought system does more than just define or determine the confines or parameters of what is known and understood in public discourse and public dialogue. Rather, an episteme or thought system defines and determines both culture and lifestyle as well as social order or social organization. How state and society are ordered and organized and how they conduct the manner by which they live and survive. Hence, none of this should be taken lightly or as a joke.
