Free and rich means peaceful and stable. Less free and less rich means less peaceful and less stable and thus more conflict and more war. At least this is what mainstream social theories in the West such as “Economic Interdependence Theory” and “Democratic Peace Theory” imply and suggest. But as we said, there are an infinite number of social theories. It’s about choosing the best ones to best explain the social world we occupy and live in and are forced to cope with and deal with day in and day out.
