In the very end, our question is a question of human nature. And human nature is power-seeking and prestige-seeking. Human beings want all the love and recognition of the whole wide world for themselves. Thus, the worst thing one can do is strip someone of their power and prestige. And for power-seeking and prestige-seeking animals like human beings, the ends justify the means more often than not. It doesn’t matter how these people acquire power and prestige. What matters is that they have it at all costs. And the worst thing to do is to undermine their sense of power and prestige because of the criminality and illegality behind how they acquired all of it. Nevertheless, everyone wants all the love and recognition of the whole wide world for themselves. Even if they don’t deserve it one bit. Even if the epitome of criminality and injustice is to give them the love and recognition that they demand and seek. Nevertheless, both the demand for all the love and recognition of the whole wide world and the criminality and injustice at the heart and root of it all is at the heart or the root of the crisis of credibility and trust which has undermined everything.
