“Kama Sutra” (Note)

Dharma is what we are trying to get at here. Dharma is our end all be all. Dharma can either mean “virtue” or “religion.” Or it can mean “duty” or “purpose.” Or it can encompass all of these terms.

Life either has meaning and purpose, or it doesn’t. And whatever that meaning or purpose is to life, it takes precedence over money and pleasure, although money and pleasure are important to a certain extent. But there is no magic wand or silver bullet for money and pleasure. It’s all chance and luck. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. If it ain’t, then it is what it is. What matters most is meaning and purpose, or Dharma. And there is either meaning and purpose to be discovered, or there is no meaning and purpose to be discovered at all. It takes time to figure it out. It’s a process. Trust the process, as they say. And it’s easier said than done.
